Day # 1 - San Francisco to Denver
Left SFO about 6:00 a.m. and arrived in Denver about 9:30 a.m.
Supershuttle took us to the Denver Marriott City Center Hotel where we checked in.
I roomed with Albert Sammons who sings with me in Counterpoint.
GALA Festival 2012 - Denver
Left SFO about 6:00 a.m. and arrived in Denver about 9:30 a.m.
Supershuttle took us to the Denver Marriott City Center Hotel where we checked in.

We walked to the Performing Arts Complex where we picked up our GALA registration badges and concert booklet.
Sculpture Park and Saloon -
a gathering place for the festival.
We also checked out the Stage Theatre where we will be performing on Monday evening with Counterpoint. It is a beautiful intimate theatre that seats about 450 people.
We also browsed in the GALA store where CDs and GALA merchandise is sold.

Saturday evening I heard 11 different small ensemble choruses perform 15-minute sets. There was a wide variety of music and level of performance. My favorites were Breve, Inner Voices, 7th Son, and Illuminati.
Back to the hotel about 11 p.m.
