California Wine Country
I rented a ZipCar in San Francisco and David and I drove north on Highway 101 to Ukiah.
Along the way we stopped at the Kendall-Jackson Winery near Santa Rosa.
We tasted several of their wines and I bought 2 bottles, Avant (2010 Chardonay) and a Grand Reserve Port for my dinner party on Sunday.
We stopped in Hopland for lunch and ate our sandwiches on the porch of Hopland Gas & Mart.
We drove on to Ukiah and spent the night at the Travel Lodge. Later we walked through Downtown Ukiah and had dinner at the China Chef Restaurant.
