This morning I drove through downtown Augusta, on my way to New Hampshire.

The Kancamagus Scenic Byway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along Rt. 112 between Conway and Lincoln.

At the lower elevation the leaves are just beginning to change.
At the higher elevation the colors are more dramatic.
I then drove north along I-93 to Franconia and visited another of Robert Frost's homes.

This 1/4 mile trail behind his home was a favorite walk. Several of his poems are posted along the trail.
I drove into Vermont and spent the night near Montpelier.
