Today I did another of the Volkssport walks, this one a 6K walk sponsored by the local Texas Wanderers.
The walk begins and ends at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel.

San Antonio is famous for its Riverwalk. It is a lovely walk with cafes and restaurants along a beautifully landscaped area. Here are some photos.
Here in the Main Plaza is the San Fernando Cathedral.
Across from the Main Plaza is the Bexar County Courthouse
Back at the Riverwalk, barges were carrying passengers.
I stopped for a barbeque lunch at The County Line on the Riverwalk.
Lunch included a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, french fries, and Lone Star beer.
The Arneson River Theatre is on the Riverwalk, with the stage on one side of the river and the viewing area on the opposite side.
