SAN ANTONIO TO AUSTIN
Today was mainly a travel day, so there is not much to report.
I rode the Greyhound Bus from San Antonio to Austin and arrived in Austin about 3:00 p.m. and checked into my hotel.
Because there was not much time left in the day for sightseeing, I decided to ride the local transit bus downtown to evaluate both the transit system and to get a general feel for the layout of the city.

I located the Amtrak Station on N. Lamar Blvd., as I will be leaving Austin by train in a couple of days.
This evening I ate at a popular Mexican Restaurant, Baby Acapulco, and had the Chile Relleno with Dos Equis Beer.
I returned to the hotel early. I plan to do some serious sightseeing tomorrow.
